December 2008
Catlett Family activities

Since we had a lot going on in December this year, we thought we'd send out a composite of pictures and video clips...

December 6, 2008 ...the day before Victoria's birthday... we had the Rudolph Run in the morning (see pictures below) and the St. Jude Children's Christmas program in the afternoon (here's the LINK to that page)

December 12, 2008 ...was the day we celebrated Victoria's birthday with several of her friends who were so quiet and peaceful ... we didn't even know they were in the house.

December 18, 2008 ...was the Anderson All Star 3rd Grade Christmas show called: "I need a Christmas Vacation." Here's a VIDEO CLIP from one of numbers they sang.

December 19, 2008 ...Charlotte and Lucy sang in the Allen Symphony Chorus and Honor Choir, respectively. Charlotte is the last person on the left on the top row in the picture below left.
December 20, 2008 ...David and Emilie went down to Houston to attend the Texas Division 5A State Football Championship game pitting our hometown Allen HS Eagles against Hightower Fort Bend HS. We rode with our friends the Franzens whose two sons were playing in the Allen HS marching band. Allen won 21-14. We were sitting a few rows up from the endzone where Allen scored it's first TD. Here's VIDEO CLIP of the TD. Here's a clip of the massive AHS Marching band:VIDEO CLIP . And here's another clip of the last play of the game:VIDEO CLIP. The game was best summed up by Serena Franzen (age 9) with a very appropriate Disney/Pixar quote: "That was totally wicked!!"
CHRIST MAS December 25, 2008
...we had a nice quiet Christmas as a family. Charlotte's cousin Jeff and his wife Toni joined us for Christmas dinner and treats (David's homemade limoncello was an especially big hit).
December 27, 2008
...on Lucy's birthday we were joined for Wall-E cake by the Franzens.
